

Due to his father’s career in the U. S. Air Force, he spent his younger years traveling around the states. He loved his high school years in Germany, making friends that lasted a lifetime.
His family settled in Texarkana in 1974. Soon after he met his wife, Leslie, of 46 years and accepted a job with Rockwell International, now known as Smith-Blair. He retired December 2020 after 45 years with the company.
Dennis loved to be active and enjoyed many activities with family and treasured friends, such as golf, bowling, softball, and racing cars. Hunting, fishing, camping, and long weekends at the lake were some of his other passions. He also loved ending the day sitting around the fire, reminiscing and enjoying a cold one!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis and Earl Page.
Survivors include his wife Leslie Page, daughters Brandy Farrar and Katie Teer, son-in-law Joey Farrar, all of Texarkana,TX, siblings Cheryl Anderson of Mt. Vernon, Texas and Dr. Greg and Carolyn Page of Arlington,Texas.
Dennis cherished his role as Papa to his seven grandchildren; Rylan, Dylan, Jax, and Bella Farrar, Gracie and Paxton Whitecotton, and Addie Teer.
Dennis was a blessing to many, and heaven can only shine brighter with him in it.
A heartfelt thank-you to Dennis’s amazing friends and loving extended family! Their love, prayers, support, encouragement and special blessings filled our hearts with light and love throughout his illness and brought joy to our lives.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, August 14th, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane. The family would love for you to come by to visit with them and share memories.
