Donald Hugh Wall

Donald Hugh Wall, age 88, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was born on January 10,1937 in Texarkana. He was a member of Christ Global Methodist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, and a Mason. He retired from SWEPCO in 1994 after 37 years of service. He loved playing golf, was a member of New Haven Golf Club, and was a passionate Arkansas Razorback fan. He loved his garden, farming and mowing grass. After retirement, he loved traveling with his beloved wife of 64 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Rubie Lea Wall; and three brothers Charles, Joe Dan and Ray Wall.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Ables Wall; two sons Lindsey Wall (Kelly) and Randy Wall (Amy); and four granddaughters Heather Wall, Amanda Gibbs, Sophie Wall and Isabella Wall. Plus other nieces, nephews and family members.

Graveside funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Doug Rhodes and Bro. Kenny Polk officiating.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
