George W. Fleming

George W. Fleming, age 86, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. George was born June 15, 1935 in Bowie County, Texas. He was a retired maintenance supervisor from Cooper Tire and was a member of Maud Masonic Lodge No. 859, New Boston Lodge No. 69 and Order of the Eastern Star No. 700, Maud Gun Club and was an avid volunteer at the Running WJ Ranch.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Fleming and his daughter Bianca Baird and a great grandson Liam Hamilton.

Survivors include and their spouses; Steven and Teresa Fleming and Joaquita ( Kita ) and Tony Welch.

Also left to cherish his memory is his brother Lance Fleming; 5 grandchildren and their spouses; Nicole and Billy Koch, Brian Baird and Sarah Bailey, Derrick Wade Hamilton, Eric Fleming and Veronica and Aaron Johnson. 6 great grandchildren; Haven Johnson, Jaylin Hamilton, Kelby Koch, Samuel Koch, Thomas Koch and Lily Norrid and a special niece Pam Fleming.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4th, 2022 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 4th, 2022 at East Funeral Home-Downtown Chapel with Bro. Daniel Landis officiating.

Burial will follow at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Masonic Rites.
