Well I Posted something when this first came out but i gues it didnt do right, Papaw i Miss you so much I Cant explain how much im still in shock i keep thinking i can just get David to take me to dodridge and i can see you and sing to you, but then reality hits me and i start crying all over again, I Cant express how much youve made me laugh and smile and feel safe knowing my papaw would take care of the bad guys and i cant express how happy you've made me and David knowing that you liked him and gave us your blessing before you Went to Heaven we miss you Papaw and i Love you so very much i wish you were here so i could just tell you one last time

Where do I begin? This little box cannot possibly contain the memories I 've been so blessed to have gotten to share with you.  This is most definately one of the lowest valleys I have had to travel, when I lost you, I didn't just lose a grandfather I lost my Papaw, someone who loved me as I was, through all my mistakes,  someone I could always depend on, someone who taught me honesty, loyalty, and humor of course, that it's okay to laugh at yourself, no one is perfect. We are a family of blue collar, paycheck to paycheck, hard working people, but you talked about us like we were doctors and lawyers, and it's because..that's how you saw us, it didn't matter what we did for a living, you loved us for who we were inside. I am so glad that GOD chose me to be your grandaughter, because I couldn't have asked for a better Papaw. The only thing that keeps me from constantly crying is knowing that you are walking hand in hand on those streets of gold with Mamaw. I just want to thank you for always loving me and always being there for me. I will see you again someday, I love and miss you and Mamaw dearly. So sorry to hear about George.  Didn't know until today that he had gone to be with the Lord.  Will have all of you in my prayers.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

You were like a grandpa to me and I have a lot of great memories of you making me laugh. You will be missed but we all know yoy are in wonderful hands.
