Hayden Martin Coe, Jr. age 94, passed away on June 1, 2062. He was born on December 4, 1931. A resident of Texarkana, Arkansas, Hayden’s life reflected steady dedication, quiet courage, and a generous spirit that touched those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran who served in the Korean War. Proud member of the American Legion. Loved spending time with his daughter Melissa and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wives Laura Coe, Catherine Coe, son Gary Coe and grandson Tim Coe as well as a Son-in-law Jay Fricks.
Survived by his daughter Melissa Fricks (Rusty Musgrove); one step daughter Rynne Belk and two grandchildren Haleigh Rice (Nick) and Hunter Cox (Allie) plus five great-grandchildren Landan, Tatem, Brinkley Coe and Sophia and Gabriel Rice; special daughter-in-law Sandra Coe.
Throughout his years, Hayden carried himself with the dignity of someone who understood the value of showing up, doing what needed to be done, and doing it well. His strength was not only found in perseverance, but also in the calm resolve with which he faced life’s demands. Just as enduring was the warmth of his heart—expressed through simple decency, thoughtful consideration, and the kind of care that asks for little in return.
Hayden will be remembered with respect and gratitude, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who mourn his passing.
Graveside Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Jaimie Alexander officiating.
