Imogene Watson Head

Mrs. Head was born October 10, 1909, in Benton County, Tennessee. She was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, Arkansas, and a member of the Montgomery Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Pete” Head.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Charles Bruce of Texarkana; four grandchildren, Melissa and her husband, Douglas Schnitzer of Houston; Robert Bruce and his wife, Cynthia of Dallas; Susan and her husband, Michael Rogers of Texarkana, and David Bruce and his wife, Marlo of Houston; 11 great-grandchildren: Douglas, Johnathan, Robert, and Stephen Schnitzer; Lauren and Thomas Bruce; Riley, Sidney, and Sarah Rogers, and Walker and Blakely Bruce; numerous nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Sharon Gilbert, Sandy Hill and Orman Goodnight.

Family graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday August 17, 2012 at Doniphan Cemetery in Doniphan, Missouri with Reverend Robert E. Langley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane, and Edwards Funeral Home, Doniphan.
