He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Stone; and a brother, William Stone.
Survivors include his daughters, JoAnn Hakes of Oil City, LA and Sharon Kay Stone of Shreveport, LA; son, Doyle Wayne Stone of Pine Bluff, AR; brothers, Curtis Stone of Long Grove, OK and Wilford Lee Stone of Jarrell, TX; numerous grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Michael King officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2011 at the funeral home.
