Lanette was born in Cleburne, Texas April 22, 1960, was a retired account representative for Offenhauser Insurance Company. Lanette was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Burnett. She is survived by her mother Inez Peterson and her Papa Charles Peterson, her sisters Virginia Hinton and Peggy Harris and her husband David Harris and brothers Kelly Roe and Matthew Roe. She was loved by all that knew her including nieces, nephews, and close friends.
She loved to read, loved her Shih Tzu Ellie, vacations to Key West and her favorite music was the Eagles and Jimmy Buffet. Most of all she loved her family.
A private visitation will be held at East Funeral Home-Downtown on Saturday February 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Jude.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
