

Loretta Stanley, 77, of Texarkana, Texas passed away January 22, 2013 in a local nursing home. Mrs. Stanley was born October 8, 1935 in Honolulu Territory of Hawaii. She was a St. Michael Auxiliary volunteer; member of Church of Christ; Eastern Star; Mobil Car Club; and Evening Lions.
Mrs. Stanley was a civilian survivor of the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roger Proctor and Paul Stanley; daughter, Juanita Sesler; mother and father, William and Minnie Silva; and her sister, Ethel Ching.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Bernadette Bullington of Dickson TN, Martha and Stan Garret of Texarkana, TX and Peggy and Phillip Bloechl of Dickson, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Catherine Silva of Hawaii; special niece, Stephanie Schoening of Hawaii; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Doris Stanley of Texarkana, TX; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m., Friday, January 25, 2013 at East Memorial Chapel – Moores Lane with David Smith officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home – Moores Lane.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the funeral home.
