

She was born November 10th, 1928 in the Walnut Springs community near Horatio, Arkansas. She was the youngest of six children born to Joseph Martin and Mary Ann Jones Leeper.
She graduated from Horatio High School and received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Henderson College in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and retired from civil service with the Texas National Guard.
Her great interests in life were being involved with her family and her faith as well as her love of travel. She loved attending family events, reunions, dinners and was always ready for her next trip. She was a loving caring parent, aunt, grandmother, friend and confidant who always had a sympathetic ear.
She was preceded in death by a son Paul Dellinger, a daughter Jeanne Dellinger , her husband Clarence Dellinger and her husband of 22 years Gail Sportsman and a stepdaughter, Vicki Gurley.
She is survived by her son Dr. David Dellinger and his wife Nicole; a stepdaughter Gayla Johnson (Wendell) and four grandchildren; Jessy Dellinger(Brad), Sara Dellinger, Jake Dellinger, Margaret Thomas(Joe), and several step grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are her two great grandsons Phoenix Dellinger and George Thomas.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane Chapel with Pastor Richard Heyduck to officiate.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Leukemia Society or Hardy Memorial Methodist Church.
