

Mary Garrett Hague, 89, of Texarkana, TX passed away March 13, 2011 in a local nursing home. Mrs. Hague was born November 4, 1921 in Cushing, Oklahoma. Multi-talented, she was a librarian, pianist, and community chorus conductor in Wewoka, OK. She was a published writer, published poet, artist, singer and sculptress.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 46 years, Melvin Hague.
Survivors include her sons, daughter and daughters-in-law: Darryl and Beth Hague of Texarkana, TX, Gary and Cathy Hague of Carlsbad, CA, and Janet Johnson of Naples, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Shirley Garrett of Foristell, MO; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Garrett of Tulsa, OK and Dorothy Hague of Oklahoma City, OK; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, Wewoka, OK. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dierksen Hospice, in Memory of Mary Garrett Hague, Texarkana, TX.
