

After a long battle with breast cancer, Pamella R. Griggs, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 28, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. Pam will always be remembered as a wife and mother who loved the Lord, gospel music, and her family. Her faith and trust in Jesus Christ was relentless even through the difficult times. Pam had a deep love for animals, especially her pets Buddy and Spanky. Though Pam is no longer with us, our special memories of her will never leave. Pam was a member of First Baptist Church, Texarkana, TX and frequent visitor of Landmark UPC.
She was preceded in death by George V. Bruce, father and Georgia Tatum, sister.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Ray Griggs of Texarkana, sons, Kenny Ray Griggs and Bryan Keith Griggs both of Texarkana; mother, Vera Bruce of Texarkana; sister, Becky Pinkham of Texarkana; brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Claire Bruce of Wake Village, TX and Mark and Rhonda Bruce of Texarkana; brother-in-law, Doyle Tatum, of Texarkana, mother-in-law, Azelle Griggs of Texarkana, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Teresa Griggs of Jefferson, TX, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Larry Hollis of Atlanta, TX, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Leo and Linda Griggs of Dallas, TX, brother-in-law Arthur Griggs of Dallas, TX, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Leslie Terry of McLeod, TX, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Rick Hargrove of Texarkana, TX, brother-in-law, Tracy Griggs of Mt Vernon, TX; grandchildren, Kolton Griggs, G G Griggs and Chance Griggs; and many nieces, nephews and friends and loved ones.
Service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2015 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane with Rev. Jason Calhoun officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
Active Pallbearers will be Steven Terry, Dustin Terry, Adam Bruce and Patrick Bruce.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2015 at the funeral home.
