Perry J. Houser

Perry J. Houser, 85, of Texarkana, AR passed away January 5, 2015 in a local hospital. Mr. Houser was born June 15, 1929 in Lockesburg, AR. He was a member of Northern Hills Baptist Church; a Korean war veteran; and a member of Texarkana Bowling Association.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy S. Houser.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn and Janette Houser and Terry L . and Lisa Houser all of Texarkana, AR; sisters and brother-in-law, Deloris and Alan Roundtree of Alvin, TX and Betty Germany of Huntsville, TX sister in law, Jean Womack and sister in law, Barbara Powell; brother, Bobby Dean Houser of Dallas,brother and sister in law; Larry and Frances Powell, special friend; Donnie Sellars TX; 6 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015 at East Memorial Chapel – Downtown with Dr. Roger Copeland officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home – Downtown.

Family will be at 3508 Porter Ave., Texarkana, AR and family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northern Hills Baptist Church Building Fund or Serenity Hospice.
