Mr. Cooper was retired from the Arkansas Democrat. He was a avid softball player, bowler and traveler.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Carrie and Jason Atkinson of Texarkana, AR and Amy and Dr.James Fulmer of Greenbrier, AR;
four grandchildren, Wesley Neaves, Emma Daniel, Maddie Fulmer and Jory Fulmer; one special friend Ruth Reedy of Bauxite, AR.
Private service will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in Bauxite Cemetery, Bauxite, AR under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
