Mr. James was born June 8, 1942 in Borger, Texas. He was retired from Texaco after 25 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church, Texarkana. He was a loving father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years Sara James; One daughter and son-in-law; Tonia and Kenneth Zachry and his two grandchildren and their spouses; Curtis and Bailey Zachry and Lexi and Ryan Young.
Also left to cherish his memory are special relatives Mike and LaVada Conway and Bryan and Jonna Speck along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private memorial service in the future.
