Robert D. Bruce, 74, of Texarkana, AR passed away May 13, 2012 at his home. Mr. Bruce was born March 19, 1938 in Texarkana, AR. He attended the Mormon Church; retired from RRAD; and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Clifton, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Bennie Bruce of Texarkana, AR; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ryan McBride of Texarkana; brothers and sister-in-law, Carl Bruce of Texarkana and John and Velva Bruce of Lima, OH; sister, Margaret Shearouse of GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Moores Lane with Bishop James McCormick and First Counselor John Saffle officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home – Downtown.
