Mr. Pate was born July 7, 1946 in Michigan. He was a retired carpenter an Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Wounded Warriors .
Survivors include his two daughters Bonnie Pate and her spouse of Queen City, Texas and Cindy Seidel and her spouse of New Braunfels, Texas.
Mr. Pate also leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Bonnie Wheat of Phoenix, Arizona and a brother, David Pate of Michigan; three grandsons, Drake Page, Willard Ty Page and Evan Page all of Queen City, Texas and three granddaughters; Jesika Goodwin of Texarkana,Texas, Haven Bradford of New Braunfels,Texas and Crystal Cain of Fouke, Arkansas and two great grandchildren and five step grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
