Ruth Ann Stone

She was born on January 19, 1929 to Victor and Angelina Donghi.

She retired from State First National Bank some 30 years ago. As a testament to her character she still received calls or people came by to visit whom she worked with.

If she met you , even briefly, she considered you a friend.

A good day for Mom would be to work in her yard and tend to her many flowers only to take time to pet one of her cats that would come up for some loving.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years, Bill Stone, and her older brother, Louis Donghi.

Left to cherish her memory are her son,Billy Stone; her grandson, Louis Stone and his wife(a true friend to Mom) Lisa; and the loves of her life, her three great- grandsons, Lawson Maddox, and Ledgen. Her best friend in life Virginia Columbus; and her two special friends who called her "Momma Ruth", Jane Portis and Chris Riles.

Graveside service will be 2pm Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Holy Cross Cemetery with Rev. Harrison Morehead officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
