Sarah was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Joe McMichael. She is survived by her sons, Joe McMichael (Victoria) of Conway, Arkansas, and Tim McMichael (Tracy) of Texarkana, Texas; her sister, Helen Sue Purifoy (Dale) of Greenville, Texas; and her grandchildren, Drew McMichael of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Beth McMichael of Little Rock, Arkansas, and James McMichael (Evelyn) of Fort Collins, Colorado. She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Sarah had a great love of art, and she expressed her creativity through painting, ceramics, and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed baking, sharing her talents and treats with family and friends. Among all the joys in her life, she had an especially deep and enduring love for her dogs, who brought her comfort, companionship, and happiness throughout the years.
Celebration of Life Service will be 2pm Saturday, November 29, 2025 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown.
