Mr. Fleming was born February 7, 1937. He was retired owner operator of Stan's Truck Repair in which he made life long friends, and was well known and trusted in his knowledge of mechanics.
He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Henry Stoker and beloved sister, Peggy Fleming Martinez.
Stanley leaves his wife of 26 years, Janet Fleming of Redwater; one sister, Sandra Davis of Huntsville, AL; two brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Cynthia Fleming of Redwater and Lance and Donna Fleming of Ashdown, AR; sons; Allen Fleming and close family friend Christine Birmingham of Redwater, Michael and Lynn Fleming of Orlando, FL and Brett and Stephanie Bouwhuis of Redwater; 7 grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Lakeside Baptist Church with Rev. James Fore officiating. Services are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
