OBITUARIO
Susan Jeanette Dailey
17 marzo , 1964 – 21 noviembre , 2017
Susan Jeanette Dailey, 53, of Tyler, TX died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in a Tyler hospital. Ms. Dailey was born March 17, 1964 in Corpus Christi, TX. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. with a degree in Art and Advertising.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Clarence and Ernestine Coopwood of Texarkana, AR and Aubrey and Ruth Dailey of DeQueen, AR.
She is survived by her parents Roger Dale and Judy Dailey of Texarkana, TX; one brother Dale Wayne Dailey of Greenwood, AR; one sister and brother-in-law Jessica and Derek Wright of Springdale, AR; one special friend Kane Underwood of Austin, TX.
There is a bright light that has dimmed on this earth today, yet glows brighter than ever in heaven tonight. Susan Dailey, her name is of the Hebrew origin, Persian Meaning: "lily", which suits her perfectly. She absolutely loved all things of nature, especially flowers. She had an artist's eye and a gypsy soul. She is the beautiful daughter of Dale and Judy Dailey, sister to Dale Wayne Dailey, as well as a loving Aunt and I am lucky to say, she is my cousin. From the time we were kids running and playing around Mamaw Dailey's home, to running amuck as teenagers around DeQueen, Arkansas and later as young adults having a blast in Dallas, Texas. We always had a good time! Suzy you were bright, happy, really cool and always had positive things to say to make one feel better about themselves. Time on this earth for you were at times a quiet struggle. In fact you coined the phrase, "The struggle is real" way back in the day, long before everyone was saying it and printing it on t-shirts. But you always came out swinging girl! Your struggles are over now, one might even say you were taken too young, but evidently it was at just the right time according to our Lord and in the blink of an eye as well. God has always had you in the palm of His hand, and now you sit at His side with a peace that surpasses all understanding. Suzy, you left a soft footprint here on this earth and in our hearts and I am so very grateful. Than you Suzy, you were loved and you will be missed!

Susan was, even as a young girl, a force to be reckoned with. She was as beautiful as she was crazy. I cannot recall a time when she was not up to getting together to create a little fun in our small town. If she told you she had your back, well, she did. Susan was one of my all time favorite people to argue with. She liked arguing for the sake of arguing as much as I did (still do). She was one of a kind. This planet will not be the same without her.

You were in our neighborhood there on the hill by the hwy 70 overpass for a while. I remember Susan in our house playing with Joy. She was already, in .. '75? '76?, just as everyone has described her these past several days. I'm really saddened by her passing at this time and in that way.

Our deepest sympathy to Susan's family and all of her loved ones.
We had the unique opportunity to live next door to SuSu (her name from our little boys) for many years and we were blessed to call her our friend. Many good memories of her smile, laugh, wonderful homemade meals, music, fishing, mischievous pranks, and fun times. Colleen and I are laughing at one right now as we type. We were out one evening, when SuSu decides to sneak into our home. She knew Colleen didn't like the silver tinsel, and it became a running joke between the two as Susan put it all over her place this particular year. She decided to spread tinsel all over our already decorated Christmas tree and kitchen. I can remember it like it was yesterday, we pulled up to our home and saw a trail of tinsel from the drive, down our walkway to the front door, and it was everywhere. Needless to say it was funny until Colleen saw her tree had been messed with and then WWIII was on with one prank after another. She loved to cook, laugh, and we have many great memories. She has a special place in our hearts forever. Many prayers of peace, love, and joy in celebration of Susan!! Love Ya, SuSu!

So sad to hear about my childhood friend. I sat down and made myself remember playing as neighbors and all the fun, crazy stuff we pulled as teenagers. Wonderful memories!

Judy and Kane, I am heart broken to hear about Susan. She was one hell of a gal and as gutsy as they come. I know we hadn't spoken since I did the drawings for her but I will always consider her one of my best childhood friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
