Tana Ellyson

Tana Ellyson, age 72 passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. She was born on August 31, 1952 in Decatur, TX. Member of Hardy Memorial Methodist Church where she loved helping with the youth band. Loved participating with the Hardy cooking teams as well as the indoor nativities. Plus numerous others activities in the church. Her occupation for 35 years in Houston, TX. was in management and customer care in hair salons and cosmetic products. She also worked for 13 years in Texarkana at the Perot Theater box office.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Ann Searcy.

Survived by her husband of 45 years Guy Ellyson; brothers Stuart Searcy and wife Linda of Lagrange, GA. and Greg Searcy of Kerrville, TX. one sister-in-law Gayle Sharp of Texarkana, TX; Plus numerous other family members.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 3, 2025 at Hardy Memorial Methodist Church.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 P.M. Monday at Hardy Memorial Methodist prior to the service at 2:00.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be to Hardy Memorial Methodist Church or The Animal League of Texarkana, 5820 Richmond Rd., Texarkana, TX. 75503
