Survivors include his wife, Goldie V. Young of Texarkana, AR; daughters, Peggy Young and Diane Young both of Texarkana, AR; son, Ricky Young of Texarkana, AR; daughter, Pumpkin Fries of Mobile, AL; brothers, Myer Young of Cincinnati, OH and Fred Young of Mobile, AL; sisters, Penny Jeffery and Irma Young both of Texarkana, AR; special niece, Tillie Vasquez of Texarkana, AR; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Full Gospel Tabernacle with Rev. Simon Young officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
