Kat was the second person I met at the TC pool when I moved here eleven years ago.  When she found out I was born in Germany, she sang "Oh Du lieber Augustin" for me.  We laughed so hard we could not swim any more.  We laughed every time we got together.  She was a great Lady. I missed her when she could not come to the pool any more. Forgrateful for the friendship I have with  Mrs. Kat Cox. She was a friend with Girl Scout.

Many years ago, I was fortunate to work with the Girl Scouts as a troop leader.  Cat was widely respected by all who knew her and was a tireless worker for "her scouts".  It was a better organisation because of her efforts and she served her community well. Rest in peace, old friend.

Prayers for Kat's family.  She was truly a wonderful lady.  She was  an outstanding leader for the Girl Scouts of Conifer Council.  She inspired, taught, laughed and loved every staff member, leader and girl throughout her tenure.  She has a huge legacy of Girl Scouts to show for it. Thank you for sharing her with us all those years, she will be greatly missed.

I, too, am forever grateful for the friendship and working relationship I had with Kat through Girl Scouts.

There are those people that will always hold a special place in your life and were major contributors in your growth. I was blessed to work at a Girl Scout camp, Camp High Point, for 11 summers. Two of those years I served as director. With my anchor and former director gone, Kat Cox helped me keep my sanity. 
She loved to laugh. Me, too. She loved seeing girls succeed and grow. Me, too. She loved my bright blue toe nail polish I wore while life guarding. Me, too.
I tell people I want to be like Kat when I grow up- 75+ and a kayaker. A swimmer.  A hoot. Kat taught me to not forget the fun. I could be stressed and have the weight of the world on my shoulders as I corralled hundreds of girls and staff, but she would tell me not to forget the fun. As executive director of Conifer Council, Kat knew how to take care of her business.  I admired her tenacity and work ethic.  But I loved her spirit.  Juliette Low, the founder of Girl Scouts, would have adored Kat.  I'm sure they are somewhere laughing and cutting up together. Watch over us, friend. You are loved.

Yes, the memories of meetings and camping with Kat, Kay and others over the years. Former Pine Needles Association-De Queen, AR leader and Service Unit Director and co-worker with Matt at UA Cossatot. My prayers and sympathy are with the family.

I will be forever grateful for the opportunities that Kat gave to me.  I will also be forever grateful for the memories of fun and laughter we shared. She was one special lady!  I know she is carrying a special torch in heaven for all her Girl Scout friends.  Rest in peace my dear friend.  Sending my prayers to Jim, her son, and family.
