Walter Lynn “Pops” Wilburn, 61, of Texarkana, AR died April 18, 2012 at his home. Mr. Wilburn was born April 7, 1951 in Texarkana. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and friend. Walter was very family oriented and a devout Christian.
Survivors include his mother, Doris Wilburn Collins of Texarkana, AR; sister, Barbara Creel of Texarkana, AR; sons and daughter–in-law, Ryan and Brittany Cozart Wilburn of Texarkana, AR and Brandon Childs of Texarkana, AR; daughter, April Ennis of Texarkana, AR; grandson, Anthony Ennis of Texarkana, AR; granddaughter, Avery Wilburn, of Texarkana, AR; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012 at East Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Rogers officiating. Burial will be under the direction of East Funeral Home – Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 at the funeral home.
