Alan Wayne Lockstedt, age 60, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Alan was born in Shiner, Texas, and received a Masters of Mechanical Engineering from Cal State Fullerton. He had a career in the oil and gas industry, working for Smith Bits for over 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carol; and brothers, Anthony and Alois John. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Jan Hebert; daughter, Jenna; son, Drew Alan; mother, Genevieve; siblings, Annette Minikus (Jim), Alane Carter, Arlene Chalos (George); also a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017, with a funeral liturgy beginning at 2:00 p.m. A reception will immediately follow in the event room. Interment and a graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Praha, Texas, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017.
