Dr. Wildman was my orthodontist 27 years ago , I remember him always being upbeat and happy! I thought of him the other day and looked him up online only to see his passing just weeks ago. I am very sad he was a good man. I still get compliments on my teeth and I always say thanks to Dr. Wildman: )

I'm saddened to hear about Dr. Wildman's passing.  He was my orthodontist.  I really loved going to see him.  He was such a kind and gentle man. Jim made me a very complex retainer he invented.  My dentist saw it commented about the complexity and all the time it took to make.  I met his wonderful son Tim at the University of Oregon.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Wildmans, passing, he constructed a "splint" to help me with my TMJ issues, back in 1993,he will be greatly missed.. my prayers got out to his family

Dr. Wildman was my orthodontist in 1976/77 in Eugene and to this day, I still think about his quick smile, patience and great personality in the office. He was one of a kind - my prayers are with his family.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Jims' passing.  Although Jim and his family moved away over 10 years ago I have missed him terribly as a past neighbor, a close friend, and without question the best orthodontist Eugene ever had.  Professionally he was endowed with perfectionalism, along with his enthusiasm, quick smile and sense of humor.  Jim was a master of giving patients perfect teeth alignment. My three children and hundreds of my patients have Jims' perfect occlusion, and scores of my TMJ sufferers are pain free thanks to Jim.
     Jim and I always gravitated to each other at Dental meetings to share recent happenings, jokes, his patent inventions, hunting stories, Susie's love of tennis and antiques, his great kids, gemstones, and enjoying our love of gin and tonics.  Those were great times and no one has replaced Jim since, and most of our dental meetings are now boring and sterile.  
     Jim was my mentor in establishing my dental practice.  His advice was superb as he was a walking encyclopedia for proper control over patients problems, staff, and the business end of dentistry.  I learned more about orthodonics from Jim than in my 4 years in dental school.
     Moving to Country Lane in 1969, fresh from Vietnam, Jim and Susie were the first to welcome us into the neighborhood, and their neighborhood parties were "not to be missed".  The 101st airborne saved us at Dak To, Vietnam in 1968, and those big 101st "screaming eagles"paratroopers were a welcome sight to us.  Needless to say I was not surprised to leard that Jim was one himself, as for a little guy he packs a whollup.
     I am very happy to learn that Jim's family has expanded.  He loved his wife and kids so much.  I trust the grandkids will learn what a great man their grandpa was, and I hope their share the high qualities of Jim Wildman.

Dr. Wildman was my orthodontist from about 1960 - 1969 - both in Eugene and Roseburg.  He really made a nervous young patient more relaxed.  He was friendly, too. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

My mom sent me Dr. Wildman's obituary yesterday.  My heart goes out to each of you.  Dr. Wildman was a truely loving, giving, and talented man and I am blessed to have known him.  He gave me the motivation and connection to begin my first career in orthodontic assisting.  He, as well as all of you welcomed me into your home and touched my life in a very positive way.  
You are an awesome family because he and Sue raised you with a loving, strong foundation.  My prayers for healing through this difficult time are for you and your family.

I'm very sorry to learn of Jim's death.  My thoughts of Jim, Sue and the boys range back many years to their time in Eugene.  I remember the ski trips and one in particular where we were in Aspen, I think.  I gave Jim my movie camera for him to take pictures of everyone coming down the mtn. problem was he had the camera upside down so I had to splice the film and then run the projector backwards. Hello Sue, Jeff, Tim and Lex,
My sincerest condolances to your whole family for the loss of Jim your husband and father.  Mr. Wildman (as I had always know him) was a great  and positive influence as a coach and Lex's father.  He never hesitated to engage my questions about the strange teeth and braces prototypes that littered his office.  I'm greatful for being welcomed to the family ski vacactions where I learn the love of the sport.  Jim and your whole family impacted my life with the warm and entertaining memories of a childhood of great friends,  welcoming and supportive parents, and mostly wise older siblings.  I hope you are all together and doing well in this sad time.

     I just read in our Eugene newspaper of Jim's death.  I cannot tell you how sad I am.  Jim was the best business partner I ever had.  In all of our years in building our medical-dental clinic I can never recall an argument or even a disagreement.  I have nothing but fond memories of Jim.
