Born August 22, 1928 to Harry and Lydia Huebner in Industry Texas. She graduated from Bellville High School in 1946. Married Calvin Arno Arndt, son of Otto and Frieda Arndt. She gave birth to Calvin Arno Arndt Jr. and Douglas Charles Arndt. She worked as a Kelly Girl in Houston, then worked in accounting at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, then with SCI Inc. and later for George Mitchell in the Woodlands.
When she retired she volunteered for the Woodlands United Methodist Church , spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing bridge with her church friends and maintaining her flower beds and traveled to Europe and the Bahamas.
Alice was preceeded in death by her parents and parents-in-law, her husband Calvin Arndt, brother
Milton Huebner, sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Ralph George, Alice's second husband Jasper Lofton, son Calvin Arndt Jr. and granddaughter Heather Jean Arndt.
She is survived by her sisters Elvie Reed, Mary Ann Lanier, sister-in-law Mickey Huebner, son and
daughter-in-law Douglas and Nan de Lene Arndt, daughter-in-law Anne Arndt, grandson and granddaughter-in-law Matthew Galloway and Tina Louise Arndt with great grandsons Lucas Parker and Jacob Otto Arndt. Niece Betsy and husband Doug Bass and family. Nephew Bill George, Niece Phyllis Taylor and family. Niece Betty Kramer, Nephew Norman and wife Leah Lanier and family and Nephew Gary and wife Denise Lanier.
Due to current circumstances burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, Alice wanted friends and family to donate to their favorite charity.
