

Annie Laura "Lollie" Mashburn Hall, born in Gatesville, TX on January 27, 1927 to Claude and Bessie Mashburn, passed away Sunday morning in Shenandoah, TX on December 12, 2021 at the age of 94. She was blessed to be surrounded by the love of her family as her spirit left our world and ascended into Heaven.
Lollie graduated from Brazosport High School in Freeport, TX in 1945. She attended business school in Houston. She married Bennett T. Hall on November 27, 1947 and they had 4 children, Debbie, Janet, Patty and Tim. Lollie raised her children, and then started her career when Tim was a toddler. She began her working years at Joske's department store and later retired from Conroe ISD as the secretarial assistant to the head of the guidance and counseling department. After retirement, she and Bennett would travel with their friends in the Exxon Travel Club, seeing the country and traveling as far as Nova Scotia. Lollie had many talents and enjoyed a variety of hobbies that included gardening, sewing, making silk flowers and ceramic dolls, quilting, crocheting, knitting, and anything crafty that could showcase her artistic talents. She also enjoyed watching sports, especially the Houston Astros in the World Series!
She is survived by her daughters Debra Lynn Hall (spouse, Rich Ostrem), Janet Hall Altadonna (spouse, John Altadonna), Patricia Hall Mims, son Timothy Hall and her brother Kenneth Mashburn. Her grandchildren include Leslie Mims-Hughes (spouse, Matt Hughes), Vincent Mims (spouse, Laura Mims), Nick Altadonna (spouse, Emma Altadonna), Ashley Altadonna (spouse, Maria Altadonna). Great grandchildren include Sarah Belle Mims, Isacc Hughes, and Orry Altadonna.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bennett Tyson Hall, her parents Claude and Bessie Mashburn, her sisters Mary Jeffers, Joyce Schuster, Claudine "Deannie" Fletcher, Benny Jeffers (brother in law), Buddy Schuster (brother in law), Claude Fletcher (brother in law) and Eula Mashburn (sister in law).
Friends of Lollie are invited to join the family for her memorial celebrations taking place Friday evening (Viewing, 5-8pm) and Saturday afternoon (Funeral, 2pm) at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home and Cemetery, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
Lollie was a wonderful and loving Momma, Mawmaw, Great-Grandmother, wife and sister. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her love lives on in our memories of her.
