Dina attended Mission High School and married the love of her life Arnaldo T. Santos on May 3, 1971.
She was a co-owner of Courtesy Electric for over 40 years, standing by her husband's side and raising a family at the same time. Dina made sure her family was taken care of by providing the essential everyday things they needed and being the rock and a true matriarch of the Santos family.
Dina had a passion for hunting, cooking and spoiling her grandchildren. There was never a stranger that passed her, she loved everyone. Her heart was full of pure gold, helping any and everyone that she could.
She was proceeded in death by her father Ruben Salazar, sister America Salazar, brother Cecilio Salazar, and brother Raul Salazar.
Dina is survived by her mom Elisa Salazar, her loving husband Arnaldo T. Santos, daughter Linda (Mark) Smith, son James Santos, daughter Krystal Santos (Roland Narvaez), grandchildren Megan Smith, April Reynolds (Nina), Loren (Jesse) Patterson, Paul Salazar, Courtney Smith, Joseph (Raven) Salazar, Jacob Salazar, Abigail Smith, Aubree Smith, Haven Narvaez, Zoey Narvaez, Roman Narvaez, great-grandson Noah Salazar along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A private vigil and rosary will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 10am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Rd., Houston, TX 77092, followed by a private burial at Forest Park The Woodlands.
