Barbara N. Bailey Myers, 68, passed away on April 2, 2014, at her home on Lake Conroe. She was born in Lake Charles, LA, to Joseph Nelson and Adena Nelson Wilson. Barbara loved life and her glowing smile and contagious laugh will be missed. Barbara was a retired Human Resource Professional and well known for her distinct competence throughout the private and public sectors. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Donald M. Myers; brother-in-law & wife, Robert and Barbara Ann Myers; step-children, Debbie and Virgil Arnold, Jeff and Barbara Bailey, and Martel Bailey; 3 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by former husband, Bud Bailey. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to M. D. Anderson Cancer Institute, Houston Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, or Virginia's Hospice in Willis, Texas. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
