It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Billy Joe Bohannan, Jr. of Conroe, TX, after a lengthy but well fought illness. Bill went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 10th, 2024. Bill was born on September 27, 1952, in Hughes Springs, Texas to Bill and Patsy Bohannan. He passed away in Houston, TX surrounded by loving family.
Bill graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, TX in 1971. After many years of working in the oil field, Bill started his own successful business, Corporate Limousines of The Woodlands in 1994.
Bill married the love of his life, Sherry Jensen, on December 23, 2000. He and wife Sherry were constant companions, going on mission trips, teaching Kindergarten Sunday School at Oak Ridge Baptist, and serving the Juvenile detention ministry in Montgomery County. Bill’s hobbies included golf, watching the Dallas Cowboys, going to movies, and fishing. Most of all, Bill loved sharing Jesus with anyone he met.
Bill is survived by his mother, Patsy Jean Bohannan; his cherished wife, Sherry Bohannan; his children: Daughter Brittany Boyd and husband Joey Boyd; Daughter Shelby Creel and husband Chad Creel; Son Seth Jensen and wife Carolina Jensen, Son Shane Jensen and wife Nathalia Jensen, Sister Marcy Johnson and husband Mike Johnson, Sister Carol Halter and husband Frank Halter, and the grandchildren he adored:Huntley Scardino, Zella Grace Scardino, Jaxon Boyd, Nico Jensen, Sammy Jensen and Jensen Creel and his good pal Cooper, his beloved Golden Doodle.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 500 E. Oak Hill Drive, Spring, TX at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June, 18. His interment will be at Forest Park The Woodlands.
