She is survived by her loving husband Ed of over 60 years, daughter Patti Payne, son Larry and wife Charlotte, sister Peggy Hanks, nieces, nephews and numerous “granddogs and grandcats.”
She was a loving and caring wife, a great mother to her children, and the best friend anybody could ever wish for. Jerry never met an animal or a child she didn’t like. She was known in the neighborhood for her care and attention to strays or ones that would just come to visit. One great dane would come by early every morning for the ham and egg breakfast she would fix him. She was also known for her baking skills and she loved sharing the fruits of her labor with the bridge club members, neighbors, and friends.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Jerry will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 30th in the Chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home
