He was born in Raleigh, Mississippi on February 7, 1932. Dale graduated from Taylorsville High School and received a Draftsman's Certificate from Ole Miss.
He was married to his best friend and loving wife, Richarda Guidry Garner on March 18, 1972.
Dale worked as a draftsman for Texaco in New Orleans, then moved to Houston in 1974, working for GeoSouthern as Operations Manager until he retired in 2013 at the age of 81.
Dale had a passion for traveling in the RV to every state in the US (except Hawaii) with Rickey and other family members, as well as hanging out on his deck at Lake Conroe bird watching and taking walks to the dock with his beloved cat, Neme.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Delk Garner; his father, Grover Garner; his brother, Billy Garner, and his brother-in-law, Robert Middleton.
He is survived by his spouse, Richarda Garner; his daughters, Wanda Williams and husband, Harold, Glynda Bilicek and husband, Jerry; his sons, Mark LeBlanc and wife, Lisa, and Steve LeBlanc and wife, Gina; his grandchildren, Danielle Stephens, Lindsay Kloehr and husband, James, Jeffrey Fleischman and wife, Jenn, Todd Folse, Jarrett Bilicek and wife Denise, Bryson Bilicek, Jo-el Eidson, Markie LeBlanc, Evan Garner Bilicek, Nick LeBlanc, Ryan LeBlanc, and Samuel Dale LeBlanc; his great-grandchildren, Taylor Upp, Jacob Chapman, Jared Kloehr, Lauren Kloehr, Brandon Kloehr, Emily Kloehr and Harlow Bilicek; his sisters, Ceadeene Walters and her husband, Obid and Janie Middleton. Dale is also survived by many cousins, nephews and close friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home from 5-8p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 11am, October 6, 2016 at Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, The Woodlands, TX.
