She was born in Saintfield, County Down, North Ireland on November 17, 1926. She was married to James Reid on January 7, 1952. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1997.
She was a member of The Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church and had a passion for her family and volunteer work.
She was survived by her children, Patricia Watkins (Tim), James Reid (Pattie) and Noreen Reid; grandchildren, Jennifer Watkins, Timothy Watkins (Jennifer), Shannon Dayringer (Brett), Hunter Reid, Sydnee Reid, Madison Reid and Aine Reid; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Agnes Campbell of Belfast, North Ireland and she was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Brown.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a funeral service from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
