

Edward Mazurek, 72, of The Woodlands, Texas passed away August 27, 2011. He was born October 26, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Edward and Kathleen Mazurek. He is also preceded in death by his sons Richard and Anthony Mazurek; and brother Paul Mazurek. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marge Mazurek; daughter Amy Mazurek, sisters Mary Anne Hulbert and Margaret Placqman; brothers Peter Driscoll and Herbie Mazurek; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ed was a member of the Nomads, the American Petroleum Institute, the Knights of Columbus in Kingwood, Texas, Kingwood Country Club and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in The Woodlands, Texas. He was the Vice President of Arctic Enterprises in Minnesota and of Stiegger Tractor in Fargo, North Dakota where he designed assembly lines and built factories. He was currently employed for 28 years as a manager of drill pipe products with Champions Pipe and Supply (formerly Mitsui Tubular Products) in Houston, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 2, 2011 in Kingwood off Northpark Drive at Sts. Martha, Mary & Lazarus, Friends of Jesus Catholic Church (4301 Woodridge Parkway). Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., with a Vigil/Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, September 1, 2011 in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.
