Frances was born in Mobile, Alabama on July 24, 1950 and graduated from Baldwin County Training School in Daphne, Alabama in 1969. On August 6, 1985, she married Jerome Raspberry.
Frances enjoyed a successful career as Food Service Director for Morrison HealthCare.
Frances was preceded in death by her mother Eula Mae Brewster, husband Jerome Raspberry,
sisters Juanita Thompson and Claire Whitfield, and brothers James Whitfield and Paul Whitfield.
She is survived by her children Marvin (Claudeen) Whitfield and Kimberly (Anthony) Burden-Darby; grandchildren Tabias Whitfield, Isiah Milton, Alissa Whitfield, Maverick Whitfield, Malia Whitfield, Dominic (Brittany) Burden, Nicholas (Valeriia) Matthews, D'Angelo Darby, Dante Darby, and Jasmine Darby; great grandchildren Diana Darby, Leiahna Burden, Neiko Burden, Maiya Burden, Malik Burden; sister Eunice Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her family and friends will cherish her memory always.
