I miss your mom very much and am glad i had that week with her last year. We had time to talk like we had never had before.
I know that she is now with Bob and her brothers. They sure must be having a good old gabfest.
You were the daughter to your parents that every person should have. Their needs always came before yours. You were an angel on earth.

Excerpts from a letter from our cousin, Dawn AminArsala.....

"Your mom was wonderfully different from your dad. I remember when our family would come and visit your family. Aunt Gloria always kept the house meticulous. She was such an amazing hostess, everything served with such elegance and precision. I am not sure who would talk more - your dad or your mom, but I seem to recall  your mom having the final say! Your mom was a woman of strong opinions who delivered her thoughts with conviction. I always admired that about her. Then it seemed as though a lifetime went by when I next saw her and actually shared conversation. It was my dad's funeral service. There was such a marked change about her. Aunt Gloria was still strong and proud, but the love that she felt for everyone just flowed out of her like a gentle river. To be so strong and yet so beautifully soft was such a humbling experience. My mom has always shared with me the events of your parent's lives. I know the past several years have been painful and challenging. I can't imagine life without both my parents, yet I know it is inevitable. I often imagine that my dad is here with me, after to be part of my life in a way that he could never be when he was corporeal. When I hear a good joke, my dad is laughing. When I fix a broken part on the car, he is guiding my hand. When my dog is slipped some food under the table, he is responsible. When it is my mom's turn to move on, I don't know how my feelings about life and death will change. She is my mentor, my best friend, and my hero. It will probably be one of the most difficult periods of my life. 
I have always believed we face challenges because they help us to grow into hopefully better people. We enter this world in a painful way and exit much the same. Perhaps it is a rite of passage to something even more beautiful than what we were given here on this earth, in this life. I can't imagine the strength of a person's spirit ending with death. It must endure somewhere, somehow. Your parents, their spirits, endure. I just know it. Love you all very much, Dawn"

Aunt Gloria is and always will be a part of my great memories of going to Florida and seeing "my family" for the holidays...Christmas and Easter. She was always a great partner in cards, always had something interesting to talk about and she was the apple of my favorite uncle's eye!!! I miss those days.....I miss them all. May you find comfort in your loving memories of Aunt Gloria's ...your Mom's ...memorable chuckle!I do....love Nancy Bo...her neice

Aunt Gloria was a great lady.  She always seemed so strong.  I miss all the family get togethers.  Now they are all together in heaven.

Dear Patty,  So sorry to read of the death of your Mom.  Our thoughts are with you.

Aunt Gloria was a great lady— a real firecracker full of wonderful stories. I still have a few memories of staying with her and Uncle Bob when my sister was born in '62! Myrna and my thoughts and prayers are with her, and the rest of the family.

Grief can be so hard, praying that your special memories will help you cope thru this difficult time. The few times we were honored to set and talk with Gloria, she was always a gracious lady full of smiles. I know she will be missed but she is now with our Lord & the love of her life.

My prayers and deepest sympathy to the family.  I only saw Gloria once in awhile over the last few years but I always enjoyed being able to visit with her.  She is loved by many and will be missed by all.

Mom, You will forever be in my heart. You taught me more things than you will ever know. Your legacy will certainly be passed on to your grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved their "Gigi" so much. I know you are with dad now, and that comforts me. I love you and will miss you always; may God hold you forever.

I have so many great memories of Gloria,she was a good friend and I will miss her greatly.
