Gordon Moore Taylor, Jr., 82, of Spring, Texas passed away January 23, 2012. He was born March 25, 1929 in Houston, Texas to the late Gordon and Lois Taylor. He is also preceded in death by his wife Vivian M. Taylor; son Thomas G. Taylor; and sister Mary Hoffman. Gordon is survived by his sons Timothy K. Taylor (Crystal) and Terence G. Taylor; grandchildren Bethany and Sarah Taylor; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Gordon served in the United States Air Force during the occupation of Japan during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 38 years of service.
Funeral Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 27, 2012 in the Chapel at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77077 . Interment will follow in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.
