

Harry Blake, 80, of Houston, Texas, passed away on June 23, 2023. He was born on May 11, 1943, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Harry was a devoted husband, loving father, and had a great sense of humor. He was a dedicated and hardworking man.
Harry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judy Kathryn Blake, his son Harry Blake Jr, his daughter Theresa Lee Patsoureas and son-in-law George John Patsoureas, his son Paul Robert Blake and daughter-in-law Lonna Lee Blake, his grandson Christopher Robert Snavely, his granddaughter Brittany Nicole Kraus and her husband Greg Stephen Krause, his granddaughter Jessica Lee Milburn, his granddaughter Rachel Kathryn Blake, and his four great-grandchildren Gracelyn, Drake, Darby, and Beau.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred H Blake, and his mother, Doris A Kerr, and his daughter-in-law Donna Gail Puckett-Blake.
Harry served in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1965. After his military service, he pursued higher education at North Harris County Community College, where he earned an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts.
For 25 years, Harry had a successful career at Houston Community Bank before retiring in March 2011.
In his free time, Harry enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting antique cars, cooking, grilling, and model building.
A visitation for Harry will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A funeral service will follow from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The burial will take place at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM on the same day.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Lung Association in Harry Blake's name.
Harry Blake will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
