On the First of November Jason finally found peace. Jason was born in Thomasville, Georgia and moved to The Woodlands in 1996 with his family. He graduated from The Woodlands High School in 2011 and during his time there he ran on the Cross-Country team. His coach, Dan Green, often pointed out to him that what he lacked in talent he made up for in heart. Jason joined the US Army in 2016 and became a Combat Engineer, and during his enlistment was deployed to Afghanistan, where he cleared the way for various NATO forces by clearing IEDs and other hazards prior to their advance. Jason loved his two boys, Jasper and Oliver and read ferociously and with a wide range of interests. He was a gamer with a fondness for World of Warcraft.
Jason is survived by his wife, Juliana and two sons, Jasper and Oliver; his mother and father Robert and Sarah, his brother and his wife Robert and Sophia, nieces Harper and Oakley and nephew Liam; Grandmother Brenda and much-loved uncles, aunts and cousins.
Jason was very fond of author and philosopher Alan Watts, who wrote:
He had a natural rapscallion balance that was just enough spice in the stew to be delightful instead of unbearable. Jason would have agreed.
