Johnnie D. Dillard

Johnnie graduated from Minden High School in Minden, Louisiana in 1981. He served in the

United States Marine Corps Reserve in 1982/88. He later attended Louisiana Tech University

and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Business in Administration in 1986. After moving to

Texas where he owned and operated a successful local business, Johnnie eventually settled in

Spring with his wife of 15 years, Monica, and their two sons. Johnnie enjoyed jazz music, good

wine and sharing them with all of his family and many, many friends.

Johnnie leaves to cherish his memories and legacy his spouse, Monica Dillard, his son, Johnnie D. Dillard Jr.,

and Monica’s and Johnnie’s sons Jacob L. Dillard and Joseph G. Dillard. He is also survived by his mother,

Betty Jean Sanders of Minden, LA, two sisters, Neta Joy Gibson and Janice Marie Carey, his younger brother

Kenneth Bernard Sanders and a large and loved extended family.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands at 11:00 o'clock in the morning on Friday

June 20, 2014, with the burial to follow in Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Johnny Isaac, Calvin Phipps, Carlos Sanders, Russell Gipson, Anthony Thomas and Michael Flournoy.
