

Jordin attended public schools in Houston, Texas, where he successfully fulfilled his academic achievements. Jordin was active in sports (basketball and football) and loved to play chess.
At age 24, Jordin was introduced to fine dining restaurants and because of his love for different foods and their creative presentation, Jordin decided to enroll in the Art Institute of Culinary Arts. These culinary studies shaped and fashioned his culinary skills, which prepared him as a chef in restaurants where cooking became a work of art. Jordin mastered cooking common dishes with simplicity to creative specialty foods, for over 11 years.
Jordin was raised in a Christian home and was baptized into Christ at a young age. During his Christian journey, Jordin was a member of Highland Height Church of Christ, in Houston, Tx, where he attended service with his mother, Catherine (Ebbs) Haynes, and often worshiped with his grandmother, Kathleen Ebbs, at Bammel Church of Christ, in Houston, TX, until he became a young adult.
On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, Jordin completed his earthly journey at the age of 35. Jordin leaves to mourn his passing, two children, Joredyn Ebbs and Josiah Ebbs; mother, Catherine Haynes; grandmother, Kathleen Ebbs; aunts, Rhonda and Yolanda Ebbs; cousins, Kenda Hill (Ryan Hill), Kevin Ebbs, Anedtra Ebbs, and Hilda Thomas; uncles, Ned Ebbs, Jr., Tony McClain, Henry Mack, Sr., and Sam Mack, Sr. (Geneva Mack).; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, cousin-in-laws; close friends and numerous other relatives.
Jordin’s charming personality will remain in the hearts of family and friends forever, and to many he will be deeply missed.
A visitation for Jordin will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Bammel Church of Christ, FM-1960 E., Houston, TX 77073. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, FM-1960 E., Houston, TX 77073. A reception will occur Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, FM-1960 E., Houston, TX 77073.
Per family's request the casket will be closed.
