

Juan Eli Chavez Arebalo, a beloved resident of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 102. Born on July 15, 1923 in Celendin, Peru, where he served for over 30 years in the Peruvian Police force.
He was a brave and cherished individual, known for his gentle and kind-hearted nature. Throughout his life, he was faithful and thoughtful, always dedicated to his family and community.
Juan had a passion for helping people and gardening, pursuits that reflected his hard-working spirit and generous heart. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, cherished by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children: Luis, Oswaldo, Juan, Marly, Santiago, Norma, Mario, Brenilda, Liliam, Norbil, and Roberto. He is also survived by his sister, Irene Diaz Arebalo. His grandchildren, Tony, Maribel, Ana, Gerald, Spyros, Cristian, Lucy, Fabricio, Mauricio, Elizabeth, Jacob, Isabella, Alexander, Alexis, Elina, Piero, Edward, Nils, Milton, Marco, Williams, Franz, and Marilyn, continue to honor his memory.
A graveside service will be held on July 23, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. This will be followed by a burial from 11:00 am to 11:30 am at the same location. Juan will be laid to rest at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
Juan's gentle and kind-hearted spirit will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire and guide his family and friends.
