Juan “John” Manuel Castillo, 61, of Tomball, Texas passed away June 10, 2011. He was born July 6, 1949 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Florentino and Anita Castillo. He is also preceded in death by his brother Jesus Castillo and brother-in-law Steve Flores. John is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Evelyn Castillo; children Carlos Rocha and wife Gloria, Delma Castillo, J.R. Castillo, Anita Castillo, Chrystal Castillo and Ramsey Castillo; grandchildren Valarie, Alex, Brittany, Carrie, Keeley, Jonathan, Jaylyn, Helena and Holden; great granddaughter Julia; sisters Ramona DeLos Santos and husband Frank, Virginia Perez and husband Ismael, Gloria Smith and husband Sandy, Guadalupe Flores and Maria Bean; brothers Carlos Castillo, Alberto Castillo and wife Emma, Jose Castillo and wife Norma; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
John was a proud graduate of Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was employed with Houston Police Department for over 18 years, working in the homicide and narcotics divisions and was a lieutenant with Brookside Village Police Department for over 10 years. He was also a private investigator and owner of Castillo Investigation Specialist.
Funeral Services are set for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 16, 2011 in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the funeral home.
