It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Katherine Trask Schneider, loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend to all who were lucky enough to know her. She died on September 13, 2022 at the age of 75 in Montgomery, TX.
Kathy was a long time resident of The Woodlands, TX where she raised her children and worked as a librarian for Montgomery County until she retired in 2008.
She was married to Homer Frederick (Fred) Schneider for 44 years until his death in 2011.
She is survived by her four children, Lisa Schneider, Julie Bracewell, Russell Schneider, and Gail Schneider; her six grandchildren, Gannon, Fischer, Drew, Augustus, Lydia and Genevieve; her brother Michael Trask; and an assortment of nieces and nephews. She lovingly known as "Kitty" to her grandchildren.
A prayer service/visitation will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 at 1:30 PM in the Chapel at Forest Park - The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
The memorial service will occur immediately after at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The committal service will immediately follow at 3:00 PM at the Forest Park - The Woodlands Cemetery at the same location as above.
