Kathleen Autry, beloved mother, grandmother, world traveler, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, August 9th. She grew up in Oregon and, after graduating, traveled and taught all over the world. She married the love of her life in 1973 and then she and her husband Joe Gene moved to South Korea where they lived for 17 years as Southern Baptist missionaries. She taught everything from Special Education, to life guarding, and even fencing. She lived a very interesting and eclectic life and will be greatly missed.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Shannon, son and daughter-in-law, Aeran and Belinda, granddaughters, Tatum and Rhyanne, sister and brother-in-law, Rosanna and Daryl Willecke, and her cat Zion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gene, sister, Barbra Tracy, and cat Jasmine.
Services will be held at First Baptist Church – Downtown Dallas on August 29th at 10:30am.
