Kimberly Sue Ewing (Kim), 51, of Spring, Texas, passed tragically on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. Kim was born on September 11, 1967 to Melva and late Billy Joe Grumbles. She was a graduate of Liberty Hill High School in 1986, where she was homecoming queen. On August 19, 2000, she married Tim Ewing of Pasadena, Texas.
Kim absolutely loved art, music, cooking, and sports. She enjoyed going to the Bayou City Art Festival every year. She also loved animals, especially “Snickers,” the family dog. Most of all, though, she loved her children, Kendra and Maddie.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Billy, and grandmother, Nelda “Bend Granny” Larue, and is survived by her mother, Melva, her siblings, Billy, Tonja, Krystal, B.G., and Kristina, her husband, Tim, her daughters, Kendra and Maddie, two grandchildren, Brayden and Taylor, son-in-law, Tim, and mother-in-law Carolyn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the His Grace Foundation or the Houston SPCA.
