Mr. Larry Wayne Bruce

Larry Wayne Bruce, age 67, died unexpectedly on April 27, 2022, in Houston, Texas. He was born December 4, 1954 in Houston,Texas to Riley Burton Bruce Jr. and Arqueta (Powell) Bruce. He graduated from Aldine High School. Larry lived his entire life in the Aldine area. Larry retired in 2016 from the HVAC industry. Larry was a great family man and a loving father. He married Pam on July 3, 1976 and the couple had 3 children together and have 5 grandchildren Payton, Khloe, Madison, Hannah, and Claire. Larry enjoyed anything that had to do with learning about rocks, planes, and spent many years on the lake with his family. Larry had a love for Ford classic cars with a wide collection of his own. Larry enjoyed spending quite a bit of time in his retirement years at his family ranch.

Larry is preceded in death by his father, Riley Burton Bruce, Jr., and his mother-in-law, Maxine Warren.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Pamela Bruce; three devoted sons, Christopher Wayne Bruce, Tracy Burton Bruce and wife Ashley, and Nicholas Allen Bruce and wife Olivia; five wonderful grandchildren, Payton, Khloe, Madison, Hannah, and Claire; his dear mother, Arqueta Bruce; brothers, Ray Bruce and Michael Bruce; many nieces,nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 - 7:00 p.m., Monday evening, May 9, 2022 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home located at 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. The service will be at 10 a.m,Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Pastor Patrick Thurman will officiate. Larry will be laid to rest in the Bruce family plot at Greenbriar Cemetery on Greenbriar Road in Madisonville, Texas. Christopher Bruce, Tracy Bruce, Nicholas Bruce, Ray Brice, Michael Bruce, Eric Carling, and Don Carling will serve as pallbearers.
