Linda Fern Casci

Linda Fern Casci, 78, of Montgomery County, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025. Born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, on August 23, 1946, Linda lived a life filled with purpose, creativity, and love.

She graduated from Shawnee High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree from Sam Houston State University. A passionate educator, Linda dedicated 35 years to teaching at The Woodlands High School, where she was deeply loved and respected by colleagues and students alike.

Linda was a proud member of Chi Omega and embraced a vibrant, creative spirit throughout her life. She found joy in reading, painting, and playing the piano—interests that reflected her deep appreciation for beauty, expression, and lifelong learning. One of her favorite places to visit was Ireland, where she made cherished memories traveling with close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orie and Helen Lightfoot. Linda is survived by her daughters, Krista Patton and Erin Sutch; her beloved grandchildren, Kylie, Cole, Kason, and Kaleb; and her sister, Sherrel. She will be forever missed and always remembered by all who knew and loved her.

An intimate gathering and reception with family and close friends for Linda will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
